Michael is a tillage farmer at Crocane Farm, Aghada, Co. Cork as well as Director of IQ Solar and IQ Wind. Michael completed the successful installation of a 1.7MW wind farm in 2012 and has just completed the construction one of the first grid connected solar farms in Cork – the 5.2MW Lurrig Solar Farm. Both are co-located at Crocane Farm. Michael is a past Chair and current Steering Group member of Energy Cork. In 2023 Michael received a certificate of merit from the RDS sustainable farm and forestry awards.
