Ciarán Cuffe is the Green MEP for Dublin. He sits on the committees for Energy, Transport, and Regional Development, and is president of EUFORES, a European cross-party network that promotes the deployment of sustainable energy systems. He is currently the Rapporteur for the revision of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD). Prior to his election to the European Parliament in 2019, he served as a Dublin City Councillor, TD Dún Laoghaire, and Minister of State with responsibility for sustainable transport and climate change.
