Bernice is a Technical Adviser to Net Zero Energy, an Irish company focussed on achieving a 100% decarbonised power system and developing projects that complement wind and solar. A chartered Electrical Engineer by background, Bernice has worked on over 1GW of renewable energy projects, the 500MW Greenlink interconnector and multiple storage and grid services projects in a variety of technical and management roles. In 2020, she led the delivery of the first large-scale battery on the Irish grid- Statkraft’s 11MW Kilathmoy battery. Bernice was the founding chair of Energy Storage Ireland 2018-2020 and chaired the Engineers Ireland Energy, Environment and Climate Action committee from 2019-2021. Bernice currently chairs the Wind Energy Ireland Net Zero Committee.
