Aidan has over 15 years’ experience working in the charity and non-profit sector in Belgium, the UK, and Ireland. He has been the Communications & Strategic Engagement Manager at the Asthma Society of Ireland since January 2024, where he manages the organisation’s internal and external communications, marketing activities, and campaigns.
Aidan previously held the Associate Director role at Health Care Without Harm Europe – a not-for-profit organisation committed to creating a more sustainable healthcare sector globally. In this position, he led the development of the Global Green and Healthy Hospitals network in Europe, a powerful coalition of over 200 healthcare institutions committed to reducing their environmental footprint.
Aidan is passionate about the link between the environment and health and is a dedicated advocate for environmental sustainability and protection. He holds a BA in Media & Communications and English from the University of Limerick and an MSc in Global Challenges from the University of Edinburgh.
