Conor Cooney

Conor leads the energy practice for AECOM on the island of Ireland. In addition, he leads a team based in the UK delivering energy process and future fuels projects. He is a project director and project manager across a number of complex energy projects including low carbon thermal generation, green hydrogen, BESS and ground mounted solar. Conor joined AECOM in 2022 after holding a number of roles across ESB group including ESB Networks, ESB Innovation and ESB International. Conor holds a BEng in civil and environmental engineering and MSc in sustainable energy from UCC.
