Gavin McBride

Gavin has over 24 years of renewable experience with multinational entities and expertise working with high-value private sector clients across all tiers of the onshore and offshore wind supply chain. His
extensive career positions him as a recognised leader in the offshore wind sector. He leads a team providing comprehensive technical and engineering solutions for the renewable energy sector, specialising in heavy lift and logistics, port infrastructure studies, and technical engineering support for offshore wind. Gavin is Chairperson of ECO Wind Cluster, fostering collaboration and strategic partnerships within the offshore wind supply
chain. He is Chair of the Industry Advisory Board, CREDIT Technology Gateway, which supports renewable energy and energy optimisation research and innovation. He is a member of the North-East Regional Enterprise Plan Working Group which assists enterprises in aligning with low-carbon objectives. He is also a member of the Board of Advisors of the Higher Education Authority contributing to research capacity-building and enterprise
engagement in the technological sector.
