About Energy Transition '24

The urgency to reduce our reliance on fossil fuels continues to escalate as governments and policymakers face increasing pressure to decarbonise their economies. Net zero by 2050 is achievable but will require a concerted effort to get there.

Across the globe, 2024 marks a critical election year, with the energy transition emerging as a key agenda item on the ballots. The European Parliament elections were set against a backdrop of increasing right-wing populism. These elections will be decisive in determining the EU's support for green industries and policies on corporate sustainability and highlight the growing importance of energy transition as a central theme in European politics.

The Business Post’s 2024 Energy Transition Summit will provide a forum for leaders in Ireland’s energy ecosystem to explore how we make our net-zero emissions future a reality.

Industry stakeholders, innovators, policy makers and investors will meet to advance the transition towards a renewable energy ecosystem focusing on moving from clean energy vision to clean energy action. Our event will feature presentations, case studies, panel discussions and deep dive break-out sessions on key topics led by industry experts and thought leaders.

Join us on Sept 26 in Croke Park for a stimulating day of discussion and debate on how we address the urgency of the energy transition.
