Marie Gleeson

Marie has twenty-five years of experience working in the maritime domain. She served as Captain of the LE AOIFE during her time in the Irish Navy and has experience in the arena of public policy, advocacy and stakeholder engagement. She has held consultancy roles in the areas of strategy, human performance factors and leadership. She is a qualified Executive Coach and a speaker focusing on leadership, resilience and communication. She is a Non-Executive Director on the Board of Bord Iascaigh Mhara and was the 2021 30% Club Scholar on the UCD Smurfit Graduate Business School, Diploma in Corporate Governance. Marie is passionate about the power of the sea and the potential of the blue economy.
