Caroline Gorman

Caroline is a member of Bord na Móna’s Renewable Energy Stakeholder and Advocacy Team. With more than 10 years’ experience in the energy sector, Caroline’s team has specific responsibility for the implementation and management of Bord na Móna’s Community Benefit Funds that are associated with the company’s extensive renewable energy generation portfolio.
Her team is currently leading the implantation of the €5 million Community Benefit Funding for Cloncreen Wind Farm through extensive engagement with key stakeholders including Community Groups, Near Neighbours, Local Development Groups and SEAI.
These Funds are enabling communities and households living adjacent to Bord na Móna renewable energy projects to plan, develop and invest in sustainable, energy efficient and climate action initiatives. Ultimately, helping to deliver on the emissions reductions set out by CAP23 targets through collaboration and transformation at community and individual level.
