David is the Director of the MSc in Energy Science which has run for the past 8 years and trained over 130 professionals in the science behind the technologies required for the energy transition. His research interests include sustainable integration of solar PV into the grid, decarbonisation of heating, and electrification of transport.
He is a member of Hydrogen Ireland and a supporter of the use of hydrogen to support increased levels of renewables and build energy independence.
