Stephen is an energy market executive with over 25 years’ experience across the energy, manufacturing and retail sectors. As Director of Strategy and Low Carbon Solutions for SSE Energy Customer Solutions he has responsibility for shaping the future of the business, ensuring that SSE is helping its customers across the UK and Ireland on their path to Net Zero, through low carbon solutions provision as well as driving strategic innovation with a focus on sustainability.
Since joining SSE in 2006 Stephen has held roles including Director of Business Energy and Director of Finance & Pricing for SSE Airtricity and Transformation Programme Director in the GB Retail business.
He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Ireland, having trained in KPMG, and has a degree in Business & Legal Studies (University College Dublin) and a Masters in Strategy & Leadership (University College Cork).
