Teresa is responsible for leading ESB Networks’ Distribution Markets & System Operation Design function. This team are responsible for transforming how ESB Networks delivers it’s Distribution System Operator role, leveraging the benefits of smart metering, new flexible demand products and services, to deliver non-wires capacity solutions, improve continuity and enabling community, and market participation. While doing this ESB Networks will also support national climate action goals including the delivery of CRU’s National Energy Demand Strategy to drive Ireland’s national target of 15-20% demand flexibility by 2025.
Prior to this role, Teresa was the High-Power Infrastructure Lead at Zero Emissions Ireland (ZEVI) Office, Dept of Transport leading the finalisation of the first EV Infrastructure Strategy which was launched in January 23 and the development of the National Road Network EV Charging Network Plan. Teresa has over 20-year experience there right across the business particularly in ESB Networks and Customer Supply having held several senior roles in the areas of strategy, regulation, network development, smart networks, and customer experience and innovation.
